The Women Empowerment Projects activities are geared towards creating a life without limitations, for women, so that they can accomplish their ambitions that are suppressed by our society. In this Women Program in Jaipur, we want to Work with Women to make their presence felt and made evident through genuine work and honest struggle. We plan to help them create a better present and a remarkable future.
About the Women Empowerment Projects
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT: The volunteers in our Women Empowerment Projects in Jaipur work for the social development and welfare of women from poor backgrounds who have little or no education. In the lives of these women, volunteers make a huge difference by sharing care and love.
These women of difficult backgrounds require a lot of support and this is where our Women Empowerment Program in Jaipur serves them. With the help of communication, lessons and encouragement received from this program, the confidence of the young women is enhanced when they witness their rights and value in life.
A high level of understanding and determination is required from the participants who are willing to Work with Women in Jaipur. They are required to share their knowledge with the women while also adapting to the situations. One of the incredibly important aims of this program is to bring about change in the system of gender segregation.
The volunteers need to help these women so that they become aware of their rights, become conscious of the global trends and become self-dependent by learning some basic skills. Our women’s empowerment program has this as the definitive objective. This project of Women Program in Jaipur is therefore a rewarding opportunity for all the volunteers, as they are a part of raising the women up and influencing positive change in their lives.
Daily Volunteer Activities of Women Program in Jaipur:
- Conduct English & Maths classes for women.
- Assist in varied vocational courses like stitching, beautician and handicrafts work & raise awareness about potential future opportunities.
- Offer monitoring and counselling.
- Provide sessions of basic computer training.
- Offer guidance related with wholesome and nutritional diet.
- Teach income generative skill Training.
- Awareness about Women Health, Hygiene, Women Rights.
1. What are Women Empowerment Projects?
Ans. The Women Empowerment Projects motivate women to create a new life without any limitations. We work for the welfare and the social development of women from poor areas. All the women that are involved in this program are from poor backgrounds and have faced low or no education level.
2. What are the advantages of the Women Program in Jaipur?
Ans. Volunteering for women in Jaipur is of the utmost significance because it has the potential to change the gender dynamic. The ultimate goal of this volunteer program in India is to make them aware of global trends and to teach them a skill that will allow them to become self-sufficient.
3. Can I volunteer as part of a group?
Ans. Yes, you may participate in our Women Program in Jaipur as part of a group. Additionally, we also offer other Volunteer Programs in India, where you can explore with your group. Families, friends, high school students, college/university students, and corporate groups are all welcome to volunteer together in the programs.
4. When do I need to arrive in Jaipur for my program? What will happen once I arrive in Jaipur?
Ans. All volunteers for women as well as for the Volunteer English Teaching Program need to arrive in Jaipur on the starting day of the program, i.e. Sunday. Participants are picked up from the Jaipur International Airport by our GoVolunteering coordinator and are transferred to the volunteer accommodation. Orientation will be conducted the next day when you will also be shown the area around the accommodations, the nearest ATM, market, and will be given safety guidelines as well as information about your project.
5. For how many hours will I volunteer every day?
Ans. The Work with Women Empowerment Program will be conducted during the week from Monday to Friday for about 3–5 hours. You will have the weekend off, so you can travel on weekends. However, volunteers must be adaptable and open-minded, and understand that work requirements may change on occasion.
PROGRAM ITINERARY –
Volunteering Days – 5 Days a week (Monday to Friday).
Volunteering Hours – 3 to 4 hours in a day.
Day – Sunday – Arrival in Jaipur
At Jaipur International Airport, you will be greeted by our GoVolunteering coordinator. They will transport you to your accommodation & introduce you to your host family and other volunteers in the house. Following that, there will be a welcome meal and an opportunity to get to know each other and the family. Meal and stay with host family. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).
Day – Monday
On your first morning, there will be an orientation meeting. This will provide you detailed information about your volunteering project and other important things like safety, places to visit, local and shopping areas, Indian culture & traditions. After the orientation session you have a project visit and orientation meeting with staff and other volunteers who are already working there. Meal and stay with host family. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).
Day – Tuesday to Friday
Each day begins with a delicious Indian breakfast cooked by your host family. You will then be picked up by our driver and driven to school for a morning of teaching. Your lessons will involve a variety of fun activities that are prepared every afternoon with the guidance & support of the project coordinator. Enjoy lunch with the host family. Afternoon will be free for you to explore Jaipur’s vibrant city. Dinner will feature a delicious Rajasthani cuisine prepared by the host family. Meal and stay with host family. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).
Day – Saturday, Sunday (Weekends)
Weekends are free to be tailored to your relaxation or exploration. Sightseeing tours can be arranged for the ‘THE PINK CITY’ Jaipur – Albert Hall Museum, Hawa-Mahal (WIND PALACE), Jantar Mantar, City Palace, Jal Mahal (WATER PALACE), Nahargarh Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Amber Fort and other locations.

Meals – During the program you will be provided with 3 meals every day: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. The family serves quality and delicious Indian vegetarian food to the volunteers.
Breakfast – Tea (Chai)/Coffee, Bread, Jam, Porridge, Poha or Plan Paratha.
Lunch & Dinner – Vegetable, Dal (Lentils), Roti (Chapatti), Rice, Pickles, Yogurt, Green Salad & Fruits.
Accommodation – Volunteers are provided accommodation with an Indian host family. Accommodation will be sharing basis with the same gender in the volunteer program. Rooms have an attached washroom with shower and western toilet. Rooms are air conditioned and have a wi-fi connection. Participants who are coming with their friends, couples or family members can share the same room. Host families are experienced, and volunteers can expect good hospitality.
