People from any part of the world can join volunteering program.

Above the age of 18 years and who has passionate and wants a meaningful way to see India is perfect for volunteering.

Yes, you can join volunteering programs with family, friends or a group.

There are no specific skills are required for volunteer, they have only positive attitude towards work with lots of love and full of enthusiasm for the project.

Volunteer should be able to speak English language. Other foreign languages are not required for volunteering in the project area.

You can be volunteer for minimum 1 week or maximum 10 weeks.

All Volunteering programs are start from every Sunday of each Month. Each program is run Monday to Friday.

You can apply for the program in minimum 1 months advance and send us e-mail at info@govolunteering.org.

You can fill required application form and enroll yourself in GOVOLUNTEERING (GV) by register online or e-mail us.

Volunteers are required to submit their resume with a photograph and other supporting documents.

We take 2-3 business days to process your application.

You need to fill online application form and once your application is approved you will get a payment request along with the bank details. At the time of payment, you need to pay USD $200 in advance to book your seats and remaining amount will pay before 30 days of program starting dates.

Once you paid and joined the program as volunteer. You can discontinue with the written note or email at info@govolunteering.org. But GOVOLUNTEERING (GV) will not refund any program fee under any circumstances.

The following services are included in your program fee:

  • Volunteering Work from Monday to Friday.
  • Local transportation to work area pick up & drop from Monday to Friday.
  • Accommodation on sharing basic at India host family.
  • Meals 3 times a day – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
  • 24/7 Internet service.
  • Pick up & Drop service from Jaipur Airport by GV representative.
  • Comprehensive Pre-Departure information Kit.
  • In-Country support GV staff will assist you in India during the program 24/7.
  • Orientation on about volunteering programs etc.
  • Cultural Workshops- Indian dressing, Henna Painting & Yoga session only 1 class for each workshop will be provided.

Volunteer will stay at host family accommodation. The rooms will be sharing and same gender basis with western style toilet. You will be provided Indian food three times a day.

You will be greeted by a GOVOLUNTEERING (GV) representative with a Placard and your name on it at Exit Gate of JAIPUR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. After pickup you will be transfer to your accommodation at host family.

The volunteer is required to arrive at Jaipur International Airport in case you arrive at Delhi Airport, or you need transport for Jaipur we will arrange pick up with additional charges.

After you’ve signed up with us for program, you will be provided a list of phone numbers of our country coordinators, whom you can contact anytime during any emergency.

There are plenty of good hospitals and doctors are available 24/7 who provide proper treatment of all types of diseases.

Yes, you will need visa to come to India. We strongly advise all volunteers to apply and get an appropriate visa before departing for India.

 

Yes, both insurances are compulsory for volunteer. You are advised to get insurance before leavening your home country. And GOVOLUNTEERING (GV) is not provided any kind of insurance during your stay.

Yes, we highly recommend you take necessary vaccinations or consult your doctor before coming to India. Below are some recommended vaccinations –

  • Hepatitis A and B
  • Typhoid
  • Tetanus
  • Rabies
  • Tuberculosis
  • Malaria

You need to required basic things like, mosquito repellent, sunblock cream, specific medications, international outlet plugs, towels are not provided so kindly carry your basic travelling items according to your need.

Loose-fitting breathing clothes are a good option. Only in winter you might need some woolen clothes. To respect Indian norms and traditions along with working in the community. Men are to wear t-shirt and shorts till knee length. Women are to wear the tops with full sleeves, trouser and also cover the shoulders/chest/upper arms. Transparent clothes are not allowed.

After the project working hours, you have plenty of time to explore the city and get to know the local attractions and culture or you can spend your weekends for local excursion and in-country travel.

You don’t need any specific things or material for the program. After orientation we will provide required materials for you project work.

It’s difficult to give an exact figure but for personal expense you can carry cash €100 approx. There are many ATM’s available which accept international credit or debit cards.
